Heavenly Drift
Tea allows us to roam and drift, free from discussive thought. We are then open-sails to the winds of the Dao. We might just find ourselves on a remote cliffside staring at the moon. The calligraphy is an old Zen phrase for enlightenment: “The clouds part and reveal the full moon.” It is a painting on special 120-gram handmade paper using ink and aged shou puerh. It is bigger than my usual paintings at 56cm x 72cm.
